Knitting in Nature




In the ancient forest surrounding the village of Swalmen directly on the river banks of the Swalm you will find hotel Groenewoud.

Here in this countryhouse built in Finnish style I'd like to invite you to an excellent knitting vacation entitled: ‘Knitting in Nature.' See the website for this unique accomodation: www.pensiongroenewoud.nl

Tour data: Monday July 8 to Friday July 12, 2013.

Price: Is 475 euro's per person.
You will stay in a room for two people, a bathroom with shower and toilet.
A single supplement is 595 euro's.

Included is:
- 4 x Lodgings and breakfast served (and lunch package).
- Evening meals are on day 1 and day 4.
- Bike hire.
- 4 knitting workshops with yarn and documantation.
- Accompanied during excursions as mentioned above.

Nót included:
- Evening meal in Brüggen and in Roermond, day 2 and day 3.
- Drinks at dinner on day 1.- You should also disconnect your own travel insurance.

Most accessible route:
With the car: Follow the A2 till the exit to Kelpen through to Roermond. In Roermond follow the N271 to Swalmen.
As you come to the centre of Swalmen turn right in the direction of Brüggen. The roughly 1 km turn right near the ‘Kartcentrum'. About 50 metre's down a forest road you'll come within reach of ‘Groenewoud'.

Public transport.
Take a train to NS station Roermond. Then take the busline 66 from Veolia to Swalmen. Step of at the busstop, Molenweg-Rijksweg Noord. From the busstop it is a walk of 1 km to ‘Groenewoud'; Molenweg, turn left onto Bosstraat. Take a 200 metres walk till you come to the Kartcentrum. Turn right onto a forest road, that will bring you to ‘Groenewoud'.
